Let Your Light Shine!

In his profile introduction on The Circle, gay Christian Chris Sapphire said the Bible exhorts us to let our light shine before others and he that he is a disco ball. What a brilliant expression of faith.

As queer Christians, we are called to be entirely ourselves, to leave no part of who we are seperate from our faith. If we are loud and proud we bring energy to worship. If we are quiet and introspective we bring stillness to prayer. If we have known rejection because of who we are we can unlock doors with unconditional welcome.

We may not all be disco balls, but neither do we all have to be desk lamps or flashlights. How do you let your light shine?
